SAGENT is a new business providing technical recruitment services to a range of clients from blue chip manufacturing companies to smaller suppliers to the manufacturing sector. The brand needed to reflect the wisdom and intuition (common sense) that the experienced senior directors bring to recruitment: innovation combined with traditional values.

The stencil typography, with its industrial and manufacturing overtones, has undergone extensive modification particularly in the way the A relates to the curves of the S and G whilst the N and T share a common serif shape. The break in the letterform associated with lettering stencils has been carried over to stationery and other branded applications by using a horizontal orange band interrupted with a subtle vertical break.
