Valeport at ExCel

Oceanography International conference and exhibition is staged every other March at ExCel in London’s Docklands. With over 500 international companies exhibiting their latest kit, it is the place to see and be seen. Our client Valeport is the UK’s leading manufacturer of Oceanographic, Hydrographic and Hydrometric instrumentation and their stand at this year’s OI featured some of their latest innovations in engineering and electronics. One example being their radar contact-less tide sensor.

The very first wartime experiments using radar to detect enemy aircraft were conducted along the south Devon coast about half way between our studio and Valeport’s factory in Totnes. Another Valeport innovation we helped with at the show was the credit card size information cards, one for each instrument, featuring a photograph along with key facts and a QR code link to the relevant page on their website.
