Hummingbird Garden Centre

Hummingbird Garden Centre is a business on a quick growth plan. The Hummingbird team have drawn plans and have aspirations to become even more popular with the people of Lanarkshire by increasing the amount of facilities and further specialising in leisure and pet care products.

Brand Values:

  1. Embracing Nature: At Hummingbird Garden Centre, we celebrate the beauty, diversity, and transformative power of nature. We believe that spending time in green spaces and cultivating gardens can bring joy, tranquillity, and a sense of well-being. We strive to inspire and encourage individuals to embrace nature as an integral part of their lives.
  2. Inspiring Creativity: We believe that gardening is an art form, allowing individuals to express their creativity and create living masterpieces. Hummingbird Garden Centre nurtures an environment that sparks imagination and empowers customers to explore innovative gardening techniques, experiment with unique plant combinations, and design personalized outdoor spaces that reflect their individual style.
  3. Nurturing Connections: At the heart of our brand is the belief that gardening has the power to foster connections. Whether it’s connecting with nature, building relationships within the gardening community, or sharing the joy of gardening with loved ones, Hummingbird Garden Centre serves as a hub for nurturing connections. We provide a platform for individuals to engage, learn from one another, and create lasting memories through shared experiences.

Our initial conversations were around diversifying the sections of the business so that they were very recognisable as the Hummingbird brand but also individual units. Karen and Al of Logo+ worked closely to find the most appropriate solution for the target audience. Colour was used to segment the business – using mixed tones to create a more progressive, modern look that fitted the brief.

Once the brand logo’s were decided upon we created stationery and printed materials to support the brand further. We’re very happy with the results.

Hummingbird Garden Centre Logo Design: Embracing Nature’s Beauty with Serenity and Vibrancy

  1. Embody Nature and Serenity: The logo should capture the essence of nature and evoke a sense of tranquility. Incorporate elements such as plants, flowers, leaves, or a hummingbird to symbolize the beauty and harmony found in gardens.
  2. Vibrant and Natural Color Palette: Utilize a vibrant and natural color palette inspired by the colors of flowers, foliage, and birds. Greens, yellows, blues, and earthy tones can evoke a sense of nature’s abundance and vitality.
  3. Playful and Elegant Typography: Choose a typography style that strikes a balance between playfulness and elegance. Consider hand-drawn or custom fonts that convey a sense of organic beauty, while remaining legible and professional.
  4. Unique Hummingbird Symbolism: Highlight the hummingbird as a focal point of the logo. It represents agility, energy, and joy, reflecting the vibrant atmosphere and the captivating experience customers can expect at Hummingbird Garden Centre.
  5. Harmonious Design Elements: Ensure all design elements, such as illustrations, typography, and icons, work together harmoniously to create a cohesive and visually appealing logo. Strive for a balanced composition that visually represents the interconnectedness of nature.
