Generation Aesthetics

Generation Aesthetics is a gym apparel company based in the North East of England. The challenge was to create a brand logo that appealed to the demographic of gym fitness enthusiasts rather than the bodybuilding community. We set about carrying out a very collaborative briefing and posed concept ideas to set the direction then refined the selected design to produce the final brand logo.

Logo design challenges for the gym apparel industry:

  1. Representing Fitness and Dynamism: Creating a logo that effectively conveys the sense of fitness, energy, and dynamism associated with gym apparel can be challenging. The logo should visually communicate the idea of an active lifestyle and evoke a sense of motivation and vitality.
  2. Differentiating from Competitors: The gym apparel market is saturated with brands, and standing out from the competition is crucial. Designing a logo that sets the company apart, captures its unique identity, and creates a memorable impression in a crowded marketplace is a significant challenge.
  3. Balancing Aesthetics and Functionality: While the logo should be visually appealing and visually represent the brand’s identity, it should also be functional across various platforms and applications. Designing a logo that works well in different sizes, both in digital and print formats, is essential.

Generation Aesthetics needed a super logo

The centrepiece of the logo is the stylized initials “GA,” standing for Generation Aesthetics. The letters are prominently featured at the forefront of the design, showcasing a sleek and contemporary font. The “G” and “A” are cleverly merged to create an aesthetically pleasing and cohesive symbol. The use of a single colour, preferably white, for the initials adds clarity and simplicity to the design.

The inner circle of the logo is vibrant red, representing passion, strength, and motivation. It serves as a visually striking background for the initials, drawing attention to the company’s brand identity. The bold red colour conveys energy and determination, resonating with the target demographic of fitness enthusiasts.

Surrounding the inner circle is a wider white outer circle. Within this outer circle, the words “Generation Aesthetics” are displayed in a clean and modern font. The two words are separated by a small black star on each side of the circle, adding a touch of visual interest and symbolism.

How can a logo design help my business?

Regardless of whether you are in the fitness or any other business industry, trust is your key to unlocking the doors to business success and attracting the customers you are working so hard to acquire. A great logo makes this process easier.

With a great logo, you can reach people quickly and easily by making an immediate visual impact. The purpose of your logo should be to connect with your customers in a way that becomes recognisable, reassuring and reliable – how do you want your customers to feel when they see your logo?
