Treyone Woodcraft was a long established, bespoke kitchen manufacturer with four retail outlets across Cornwall and Devon. Established for over 30 years, the company had a long established brand, little changed from when it was a small company specializing in a limited range of handmade kitchens. When they approached us to look at their overall marketing strategy and brand design, we reviewed the old branding in relation to their products and services and proposed a drastic but thoroughly considered new style.
This included an adaptation of their name and a short clear strapline to position them correctly. The brand strategy embodied in the new logo design portrayed the company as very high quality, traditionally rooted with the design of the wordmark, but with a contemporary edge, as indicated by the strapline style. The colours for the logo and its background were chosen to complement the wide range of finishes and styles of the product range.
