A client of ours that specialises in the sale and servicing of domestic appliances had also expanded into the sales and fitting of new kitchens. They decided to give the kitchen business its own branding and asked us to create a logo and stationery materials that positioned the company at the quality but not exclusively expensive level and that would be distinctively different to all their local competitors.
The other key element of the brief was not to make it kitchen specific, as they hoped to use the brand for other product areas in the future. For the chosen name, Britannia Design, we agreed that it should avoid all the British tradition clichés. And the result, the client thinks (and we have to agree), is just perfect.
